security virus protection removes infection your computer already had and prevents and worm and Trojan and now even spyware. There are now bundles which have anti spam, file protection and firewall. your computer will work the way you want it to and it will perform better because files wont be deleted and your computer wont be rendered by viruses.

a cookie also known as a web cookie contains data sent from a website and is stored on the user web browser. a website owner can retrieve the data from these web cookies so then can look at the previous activity from the user. by deleting these you computer will run faster and there will be more space on you hard drive after deleting the uneeded files and it will be easier to mantain your computer.

an essential part of a computer is the hard drive and when it is bought from retailer then the computers have hard drives which are pre formatted they contain any misinformation originally loaded by the retailer.again by foramtting a hard drive the performance is increased because the computer is quicker to run and use and is less sluggish and to mantain this use drive formatting more often.

Processor     The processor is the brain of any computer. It's job is to process a lot of information in milliseconds. The processor works with the motherboard and the components the motherboard works with and then processes information.

Mother board     the mother board is the main circuit that communicates and connects to all the components that are connected to it. the motherboard links systems of the computer together and lets certain parts of the computer work together.

BIOS    Is a chip located on all motherboard which has instructions of how your computer should set up and operate and boot. This lets the keyboard, mouse and monitor to work with the computer.

Power Supply    this is a divide which provide the components in the computer with the electric energy from the mains this is connected to everything to give everything power in the computer.

Fan and heat sink or cooling   if components over heat in a computer then they can melt and this is bad so a fan and heat or cooling system prevents this from happening this is connected to the parts which over heat to cool the down effectively.

Ports USB Ports     A USB port is where you can access documents on your computer and put things in or take them out by trnasferring it.

Internal memory RAM and ROM   Storing memory on a computer is what the internal memory is used for and it stores the computers settings the hard drive is less important because the internal memory is more imprtant for running the computer.

Printer   This has the ability to turn something which is a digital image on a computer into a hard copy on paper, monochrome and colored ink is used.

Scanner    A scanner is sort of the opposite way round you can turn something which is a flat hard image and turn it into a digital image so you can edit or modify it.

Twisted pair cabling   this is a two way systems which lets information be sent to and from different components  They can also connect to the cooling systems.

Pen drive    when you are transferring between different computer this is what to use because it uses a mobile memory unit which you can transfer things between the unit and the pen drive.

Hard drive   The hard drive is the internal memory in the computer this contains the software of your computer
